With over 25 years of experience as a psychiatrist, Dr. Alamir has extensive expertise in both inpatient and outpatient settings, treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions. His experience spans from treating TRD (treatment resistant depression), opioid and alcohol addiction, ADHD, mood disorders, thought disorders, anxiety disorders, dementia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and more. Dr. Alamir is particularly passionate about helping patients with treatment-resistant depression (TRD), offering advanced therapies such as TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and Spravato for those who do not respond to traditional treatments. He also has extensive experience treating addiction disorders, utilizing medications such as Sublocade, Brixadi, and Vivitrol injections to support recovery from opioid and alcohol addiction.

In addition to his outpatient clinic, Dr. Alamir provided psychiatric consultations to major hospitals in the Cleveland area and is affiliated with University Hospitals St. John Medical Center in Westlake, Ohio. Dr. Alamir works with patients aged 18 and older, offering personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
